1. The first and last pages must be symmetrical in some way (I chose the simple and easy way of making the panel borders symmetrical).
2. The number of panels on a page must be a prime number (2, 3, 5, 7, 11 and so on).
3. No two panels can follow each other using the same kind of ‘camera angle’.
4. No more than half of the panels can show characters in them (Cue lots of establishing the location and close up of instruments).
5. An element of the strip must be in a European language that you don’t speak (the band practise a cover of Plastic Bertrand’s “Ca Plane Pour Moi”)
